From what I've heard of the dating scene in Atlanta is that high caliber, professional women of education outnumber men and it makes dating highly competitive. With so many choices the men, however handsome and accomplished, tend to be arrogant and noncommittal- with little inclination to pursue serious relationships. May 17, 2021 I heard Atlanta is no better. Both are pretty bad and very competitive, but if I had to choose I’d say dc. Atl dating is soul crushing for most bw. I live in DC, please don't waste your time here. The men are weird, have no manners or are gay/dl. I heard Atlanta is no better.

I know this thread has probably been made several times but I want some fresh perspective. I’m a Black woman in my mid/late twenties looking to get married. I’ve been living in Atlanta for a while and we know how the dating scene is here. What do you think are the best cities to live in for Black woman looking to date for marriage?
My friends and I are at the point of possibly wanting to move because the men here are just trash. There was even a Clubhouse room the other day where men in Atlanta said they know they are the prize now and act accordingly. Any suggestions?

Speed Dating In Atlanta
So when I think I found Mr. Right who matched with me on a dating app. He does some shit like this! He asked me what I do for a living which is cool and I told him. He then made a comment that he’s known some people in my position who do not have degrees, I felt that was shade. He asked if I was educated. I said yes. Mind you I make about $70k and own a home newly built with side business. Then he asked if I have one or two jobs umm ok. The kicker was when he said that he doesn’t like when men physically abuse women and I said yes physically and mentally. He said he did not care about the mental part as that can be on the woman and he cares more about men being financially and mentally abused. Then he said he knows how women thinks and she can never be over 200 pounds which I’m not but who is to say that I will not get that big if I get pregnant. I cannot! Btw he works in finance and told me he makes between $50-$100k and lives in an apartment and has a masters degree. He has some nerve! He isn’t even bringing a lot to the table that I don’t have. I got to get the hell out of this city.
